I’m a first time teacher. I enjoy seeing when one of my lesson plans clicks with a student and I can see their excitement and that they are actually having a fun time making art in my class!
Although I’m a first time teacher, I have over 20 years of experience in the Corporate Art world. I worked as a Production Manager at a Fine Art Giclée Print Company and Gallery. My job there was to match an artist’s work perfectly so that they could sell limited editions of their work on archival watercolor papers and canvas. I worked in the corporate headquarters in the Digital Imaging Department at Fossil Inc. My job there involved compositing images from their in-house photo studio, retouching, color correction and preparing images for web or print.
My preferred program to use is Adobe Photoshop. Before settling on digital photography, I took courses in traditional photography, 2-d illustration, 3-d illustration and animation, ceramics, painting, design and figure drawing.
I have been married to Dr. Jeremy Webster since 2005. He is a 1994 Caldwell Highschool Graduate. I have one stepson, Alec Webster, also a Caldwell Highschool Alumnist. We have one “fur-son” who is a cat named Mr. Stripe.
My hobbies include thinking up new art lesson plans these days!
I love oversized things and tiny things. My friends say I have “Alice in Wonderland Syndrome”.
I enjoy making intricate miniature dioramas. Did you see Tiny Joe B’s at the Sumner County Fair?
