Mrs. Lewellen graduated from Chaparral High School in 1991. She then attended College at Emporia State where she completed her degree in Elementary Education with a math endorsement. Later, after beginning her teaching career she went to Wichita State University to obtain her Masters degree in curriculum and instruction.

Mrs. Lewellen teaches 4^th grade and is the math teacher for the upper elementary. She has been teaching math for 21 years, and this is currently her third year at Caldwell Elementary school.

Before coming to Caldwell, Mrs. Lewellen taught in Wellington. She taught math at the middle school in 6^th grade.
