SCHOOL BOARD ANNOUNCES DISTRICT LEARNING PLANSAt the USD 360 school board meeting held on Monday, February 8, 2021 the Caldwell board of education announced the learning plans being implemented for the weeks leading up to spring break. All plans are subject to change due to weather, but hopefully things will clear up and these plans will be fully implemented. Activities and practices will be decided on a daily basis with the other school districts involved in those activities.February 10 through February 12PreK-5th grade – Remote learning or packets (Contact the school if you need assistance getting a device or a packet)Grades 6-12 – Following hybrid plan schedules for AM & PM groups but students will do so via remote learning.Monday, February 15, 2021 – No School – Teacher In-serviceFebruary 16 through February 19PreK-5th grade – Face-to-face learningGrades 6-12 –Hybrid Schedule – face-to-face learning in AM & PM groups.*Please note - (Any 6-12 grade student who needs to be in the building all day may make arrangements with the secondary office)February 22 through February 26March 1 through March 5March 8 through March 11All students PreK-12th grade will be back in the buildings all day for in person learning. We know that the school board and our school staff want to be back in the buildings with students and see them in person. It has been a rough and unexpected start to the second semester beginning with COVID cases increasing among students and staff and then the weather that is hitting us and possibly running into the weekend. We hope we are at a turning point with COVID and that we can get the BOE plan into effect as scheduled over the next few weeks and the back to seeing our students in person each day going forward. Thank you for your patience as we know it is hard on all of our families who are trying to work and at the same time manage at-home learning with your children. We understand your frustration and we are trying to get things into place so these changes can occur.
